Tahoe 2015

There's not much snow this year, but we went anyways.
Note to self, adjust car seat so that he doesn't wake up with a crick in his neck.....

The kids found a small patch of snow right outside the house and had a blast playing and sledding.

Cannon spent a long time by himself building a "survivor man" shelter.
He was very proud.

It can't be a read sledding day without some type of injury!

We found a better patch of snow down the road and spent a couple days out there sledding and building snow men and having snow ball fights.
{I may or may not have made one of my children cry when I hit him with a snowball in the face....}

 We had tons of time with family, and enjoyed cozy nights in front of the fire.

A sweet vacation for us all!

School Pride

We found these shirts at the Goodwill the other day.
Felt so lucky to come across these treasures, and the kids love sporting them!
{Brynn looks so grown up...its a little scary how I'm watching her get older....}

Valentines Day

We had a really nice Valentines Day this year.  I had the chance to start the day with coffee and a book....always the perfect way to begin it.

At breakfast, Rich made me cry with these sweet notes that were scattered all over the table....

I got my wish and we spent the day in the back yard cleaning.  We cleaned up the side yard (for the bazillionth time) and fixed the trampoline.

We replaced the ratty net, and turned the pad around and fixed some of the broken springs.  The kids loved having it all feel so new again!

We also cleaned out the gutter and found some "interesting" treasures...

With the kids at a new school this year I get to re-use some of the things I've done for past V-day.
Win-win.

{Cannon's Class}

Brynn wanted to make her own this year.  Yay!!!
And she wanted to make a little something for her sweet teacher too.

And Rich and I ended the day with our own little Valentine Dinner. Nothing fancy, but perfect for us!

I also got to make these lovely little goodies for the school kids for one of the hot lunches this month.  As cute as they are, they were super duper overly sweet...

80's Birthday

I had the chance to help out with Elissa's 40th birthday this year.  I swore I would never do another surprise party for her....but I did it anyways...
She was definately suprised, and it was a lot of fun!
The kids ran wild all night, until some of them couldn't hold out any longer and fell asleep where they were sitting....literally.

You know its been a good day when you see your kids like this.......

Winter Fruits

Love the yellow lemons scattered all over our area! The winter has been so mild, and there are citrus fruits everywhere!!!
