School Year Fun

Kids are getting settled into the routine of school.
I'm LOVING the quiet of the house after I drop them off. 
I'm getting a lot of little projects done, but not as many as I thought I would....

Maeve has started ballet, and seems to enjoy it...although she's my hardest to read.

And I've been able to spend a little extra time on quiet time after they go to school.
Always needed...
 
 And I tried to make some garbage disposal cleaner, some Poo-pourri, and shampoo....

 Of course, its the hottest its been all year....those poor kids in those classrooms.

And a hymn quote for my fall mantel.

 Gotta say. I'm really enjoying my alone time!

Nervous Stunts

They discovered they could climb on top of the arbor....I forsee some 'jumping from roof to trampoline' attempts in the future. {as I nervously check our family health deductible}

Slight Confusion

Me: why is the timer going?
Cannon: I put my math book in the fridge to see how cold it will get in 15 min.
Me: *crickets*
Cannon: just FYI. I also dipped two papers in the pool and then put them in the freezer to see how long it takes them to freeze.
Me: *eye blink*
Cannon: ok. Well then. Back to my homework.

Backyard Bliss

Grateful for this little piece of calm and quiet on a warm evening in the backyard.
 A time to sit and be thankful for a Sunday spent learning, growing and worshiping the Lord.
 
I love our little yard, and the fact that its all spruced up so that we can invite friends and neighbors over to share in some relaxing firepit time.

Subbing Again

With the start of the school year, comes some fun subbing jobs for me!
Rocket launching, *slightly* cooler weather, detailed lesson plans, nine of the coolest 5/6th graders possible....grateful for a fun day of subbing at PHCS.
