Canning Day Recap

I learned something new this week!

I learned that canning takes a REALLY LONG TIME!

I also learned that it was pretty cool to do!

We started with 2 buckets of tomatoes, fresh off the vine.

Some herbs and spices, onions, bell peppers and zucchini....

Cooked it all on my stove for hours and hours and hours...(did I mention that it takes a long time?)

And now my cupboards are stocked with 14 jars of homemade pasta/spaghetti/lasagna sauce! Its organic, full of healthy ingredients....and we will be eating it for a lllloooooooooooonnnnggg time!
